About the job

This is a one-year exchange program contract for qualified Developers aimed at knowledge sharing and international exposure. The successful Developers will be flown to Norway where they will be assigned to other experienced Developers for training and exposure to exciting projects. 

About NOREC

A NOREC exchange is a mutual exchange of employees or members between organisations, institutions or companies based in different countries for purposes of knowledge sharing and competence between people in various countries and cultures through innovative collaboration and mutual goals.

Priority will be given to candidates from Kenya, Uganda, Ghana or Zambia

Requirements

Job skills

Preferred level: Full stack

Experience with C# and/or Java + JavaScript (preferable with the Google Angular framework). Knowledge of Microsoft.NET is an added advantage. 

For one of the candidates experience also with Microsoft.NET / MS SQL will be a requirement. 

Always eager for new challenges and enjoy learning about new technologies.

Other relevant requirements

Experience with cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or Google Cloud Platform, as well as Linux Server Administration, Docker, MongoDB and message queuing implementations.

Above all, we are looking for candidates with a strong personal motivation for impact or value driven projects.  Successful job holders will be fully involved in development work on the first Insurance Network Service platform.
